Introduction
The Research Support Division is responsible for supporting HMSA's work in aspects of providing scientific background to our activities in addition to supporting our internal decision-making process. The RSD also aims at building a powerful entity to engage medical students in research work by providing them with educational opportunities covering all research skills and methodologies. Moreover, the Research Support Division curates faculty to train students on the methods of research by supervising the work of HMSA's research groups.
Vision
The Research Support Division ensures that both HMSA and medical students are able to generate research and use research for development, health development and global health through research education, providing research opportunities, capacity building of HMSA teams, advocacy and collaboration with external partners.
Objectives
Playing an active role in supporting HMSA work through research and ensuring the adequate evidence.
Educating medical students in Helwan University on research and supporting them in developing their research capacities
Working towards achieving sustainable development related to health through research.
Working towards global health through research.
