Welcome to the 9th Chapter of HMSA!
It’s with great excitement that I open the Call for our Local Team, the very heart and soul of HMSA.
The Local Team has always been the true workforce behind every initiative, campaign, and milestone we achieve. They are the ones who bring our ideas to life and ensure our vision reaches every corner of our community.
But being part of the Local Team isn’t just about work, it’s about growth. It’s a space where you can learn, explore, make mistakes, and learn again. A space where you’ll develop new skills, discover your passions, and find people who will inspire you to do more and be more.
At HMSA, we believe that our impact goes beyond the walls of medical school. You are not just medical students who learn, you are changemakers who create impact, drive change, and shape the future of HMSA, local community, and the world around you.

How to Apply?
To apply for any of the HMSA-Helwan Local Team positions, you should submit a candidature including the following:
Resume (CV) (Maximum 1 Page)
Motivation Letter (Maximum 1 Page)
Plan of Action (Maximum 2 Pages)
Aforementioned documents must be prepared on the Unified Candidature Template (Press on File, then make a copy to edit).
Personal photo for publication purposes. (High Quality).
To complete your application process you have to fill out this Form before Dec. 16, 2025, 11:59 PM.Monday, Nov. 4th, 2024, 11:59 PM CLT.
Notes:
Applicants for the following positions (Publication Assistants, Graphic Designers, Video Editors, and Content Writers, and FR team members) do not require the aforementioned documents, except the Resume (CV). However, there are other requirements for them clarified in the application form.
Interested members applying for the following positions have to send samples from their previous work: Publication Assistants, Graphic Designers, Video Editors, Photographers, and Content Writers.
If you are applying for the position of Project / Focus Area Coordinator, you will find all relevant details at the end of the booklet.
When filling out the form, you will find the application for Focus Areas’ Coordinators and Project Coordinator in the relevant Standing Committee’s Section. e.g., If you are interested in applying for the position of Health Equity Focus Area Coordinator, you will find that position in SCORP section.
